She played varsity softball and the flute, piccolo, and piano in the marching, symphonic, jazz, and pit orchestra bands while earning numerous first division ratings as a musician. Maria plans to enroll in the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts and is a recipient of the Roger and Elaine Zatkoff Scholarship. Maria VanDiern Notre Dame Prep High School She will be enrolling as a student in the Honors Literature Science and the Arts program in the fall. Saran also works as a volunteer at a Head and Neck Cancer Research Lab at the University of Michigan, where she assists in procuring and testing drug treatment for squamous cancer cells. Saran volunteered weekly at a local hospice, Red Cross,Meals on Wheels, Focus: Hope, and would spend every Wednesday tutoring young girls in the Detroit Public School System in Calculus and Algebra through the Mercy Education Project. She was also named a National Merit Semi-finalist and was then selected as a National Merit Finalist. Due to this rigorous course load, she was awarded the Summa Cum Laude as well as the AP Scholar with Honor Award. She was also the secretary for her school’s National Honors Society Chapter as well as for her HOSA- Future Health Professionals team. Saran graduated with an unweighted 4.0 GPA and was a participant in many rigorous AP courses such as United States History, Chemistry, Calculus AB, English Language and Composition, Biology, English Literature and Composition, Calculus BC and Physics 1. Saran Nimmagadda, a recipient of the Elaine and Roger Zatkoff Scholarship, graduated as Valedictorian of her graduating class. Kyle is an AAPPL German Proficient Speaker and a recipient of several Academic Honors and Awards. C’s Car Wash, Art and Jakes Restaurant, and is currently employed at Team Rehab Physical Therapy as a Physical Therapy Technician. Kyle owns and operates Kirsch’s Lawn Service. In his free time, Kyle plays the guitar and enjoys mountain biking. Kyle also volunteers with the Humane Society of Macomb. He will graduate with a 4.10 GPA, holds a score of 1480 on the SAT, 32 on the ACT, and is a member of the Macomb All-Academic Team. Kyle took many AP Courses including World History, United States History, United States Government, Calculus BC, Chemistry, English Literature and Composition, German, and Statistics. He is also the Vice President of the German Club and a member of both the National Honor Society and the Environmental Club. Kyle Kirsch has a passion for running and is a member of both the Eisenhower High School Cross Country and Track Teams. Lidia has also written a poetry book, Sparks & Ashes, and a novel, Half the Truth. Lidia has received several awards including, the National Merit Scholarship, State Star Attorney, Outstanding Delegate, AP Scholar with Distinction, Coca-Cola Scholarship, All League Academic, and the News Herald’s Second Team. She has also served as the Executive Board President of Student Council, President of the National Honor Society, President of Students Against Destructive Decisions, Captain of Mock Trial, Captain of Girls Varsity Soccer, Captain of We the People, Link Crew Commissioner, Student Vice President of the Parent Teacher Student Association, Delegate of Model United Nations, Interact Club Member, Drama Club & Tech Crew Member, Christian Club Member, Women of Tomorrow Participant, APAW Member, Book Club Member, Literary Magazine Editor, Schoolhouse World SAT Onboarding Lead, Taekwondo 3rd Degree Black Belt and Instructor. While in high school she has taken 13 AP Classes and 10 dual enrollments (9 at the University of Michigan Dearborn). Lidia Cappelletti is the Valedictorian of Allen Park High School’s class of 2023 and will be attending the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor.
